Work package n°1 - Project Management

The project will be run in several development phases (Research and exchange of information, Concept development, App development, Tests in Controlled Environment, Redesign and Launch Preparation, Large scale trial run, Final Implementation. The phases overlap in order to save time. Apart from the core activities of the project the partners will be involved in several other activities that are necessary for running the project and coordinating an international team. These activities will be supported by the grant for Project Management and Implementation:One major project management activity is the communication among partners, the responsible national agency and other external stakeholders. Furthermore, an online collaboration platform will be set up by Ingenious Knowledge and maintained during the project, including communication, file storage and work tracking functionalities. In a continuous process, the different ways of spending money in the project will be accounted for and the project coordinator is going to conduct quarterly checks on the planned versus spent budget to ensure the project is financially on track. Special focus will lie on the working days spent by the different partners on the activities leading to the work packages. Timesheets will be filled out by the project partners on a regular basis. The financial accounting will be prepared according to the standards defined by the national agency. The final and the interim reports will be prepared. The project activities and the project’s progress will be documented and compared to the original plans as outlined in this application.
